Your whole family is going to go bananas over this tasty recipe, and you'll love how quickly everything comes together.

Who knew that your air fryer would be your sudden star in the kitchen? Not only is it simple to use but it does a stellar job of cooking up chicken as well. These Air Fryer Chicken Strips are pure perfection once they’re cooked in the air fryer! A crunchy exterior with a tender interior makes for the perfect strip to dip.

And if you find out that you love using your air fryer as much as I do, check out this awesome Air Fryer Copycat KFC Chicken recipe as well. Because why go to a restaurant when you can cook it perfectly at home yourself?

I think we can all agree that eating chicken strips is a lot of fun. They’re like the perfect hybrid between chicken nuggets and drumsticks but without the worry of bones. Plus, chicken strips are meant to be paired up with some delicious dipping sauces and this is just all part of the fun!

WHAT AIR FRYER SHOULD I USE?

JOIN OUR NEW AIR FRYER FACEBOOK GROUP!

We love our Air Fryers and actually have two of them! If you’re in the market for an Air Fryer I love to use both the Ninja Foodie Pro and the Cosori 5.8Q.

The Ninja Foodi is a grill and has several different options. It’s also called an air crisper, and you can learn more about that here. I like this for larger projects. You can open the top and check on what’s cooking, and you can also use the temperature probe and never undercook or overcook anything again.

The Cosori has a basket, is an actual air fryer, and makes it easy to shake things around while cooking. The handle on the basket makes removing the basket easier, and it’s very easy to clean. Each works very well and I use them both with this big family of mine. I can have them both working and have dinner done FAST.

They both really do work great and I love to use them on an almost daily basis. One last thing I would recommend with whichever air fryer you choose, make sure to get some basket liners. They are amazing and help make cleanup a breeze!

CHICKEN STRIPS RECIPE

Since this recipe is so simple, it’s become one of the main chicken recipes that we like to eat. I can’t complain though because it means that I’m spending a ton less time in the kitchen but still cooking up awesome tasting food. Total mom win, right?!

Since they just cook up in about 7 minutes of time, this is one simple meal that no one is going to have to wait on.

AIR FRYER CHICKEN STRIPS FAQS

Can you put raw chicken in an air fryer?

Of course, this is what the air fryer is for. To cook up the chicken perfectly for you to enjoy! You can also use frozen chicken!

Is air fried chicken healthier?

Typically, yes. This is because when you use the air fryer, you’re using less grease than you would by other frying methods. And less grease means less fat, too!
