I find that if I prepare it a bit ahead of time, it’s always a big hit! My kids love the taste and flavor of this dish just as much as I do!
During the fall weather, everyone loves everything pumpkin. And if you’re one of them, this pumpkin oats recipe is meant for you.
Starting off a cool fall morning with a nice, warm bowl of Pumpkin pie overnight oats is a great way to fill your tummy and give you the energy that you need.
How to Make Pumpkin Pie Overnight Oats

Pumpkin Overnight Oatmeal
This recipe only calls for a few ingredients and if you use chopped pecans, it adds a delicious nutty flavor.
- ¾ cup milk of your choice
- ¾ cup pumpkin puree (NOT canned pumpkin pie filling)
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- ¾ cup large rolled oats
- ½ tbsp honey
- Chopped or whole pecans for topping (optional)
This recipe makes 2-3 servings
Let’s get started!
In a large bowl, mix milk, pumpkin puree, and chia seeds.

Add ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and mix.

Fold rolled oats into the milk and pumpkin mixture then add honey and mix it up until it’s well combined.

Pour all of the contents into a food container and seal it. We love using Mason Jars for everything. Refrigerate your pumpkin oatmeal overnight.
Serve in individual bowls and if desired, add chopped or whole pecans and additional honey on top. Enjoy!
